How do I install MacPoeT?
Note: Do not install MacPoET on OS 10 or higher.
Download MacPoet here
1) Run the “MacPoET Installer” (Double click on it).
2) Highlight & drag “Install MacPoET” to the picture of your hard drive, as described in the installer.
3) Click on “Restart”.
4) Go to your Apple menu, “Control Panels”, then click on “TCP/IP”.
5) Make sure your “TCP/IP” properties are set to “Connect via:” “Ethernet built-in” and “Configure:” is set to “Using DHCP Server”.
6) Find your “MacPoET” folder on your hard drive.
7) Double click on “MacPoET” (within that folder).
8) Fill in your “Username” (as supplied by your ISP, including @yourispdomain.com, generally your e-mail address as supplied by your ISP).
9) Fill in your “Password” (as supplied by your ISP).
10) Click on “Save Password”.
11) If you want to auto connect on startup check off “Connect at Startup”.
12) Click “Connect”.
13) Surf away!
